We’ve had Steve repair our fence after two separate instances of heavy storm damage. The first time he committed to a job that no other fence company would take, and our experience with him and his company was so solid that we didn’t even consider calling anyone else the second time. Both times he did an outstanding job, was responsive, professional and timely. Fair pricing, quality work, and excellent communication; he even made sure our neighbor’s fence didn’t have any unaddressed damage before he left.

We had a few quotes to remove a old 4 ft pickett fence. When Steve came out, we felt very comfortable with his knowledge and advice on the project. Once work began, Steve was on time, diligent, hard working, and very attentive to detail. The finished 6 ft privacy fence looks great and very sturdy. We look forward to having this fence for a long time, and much better having our dogs out there. Would highly recommend.

Due to some fence damage caused by downed trees relating to Tropical Storm Zeta, I had to call some fence companies to provide a quote to repair the damage with Scheider Fence being one of the companies. I spoke with Rhonda to see about getting someone to come out. She let me know I would need to pay $100 when Steve, the owner, came to look at the damage but it would be subtracted from the final bill. I ended up emailing her some pictures of the damaged area to get a guestimate then agreed to have Steve come out to confirm the final quote, which was the same as what Rhonda quoted after emailing her some pictures. Due to the backlog of the tree companies, there was an over 5 week wait before the repair was performed. I was out of town when Steve repaired the fence so I didn't get to see the work in progress, but was extremely pleased at the final outcome. During the tree removal, there was one tree which had cracked during the night of the storm but didn't fall and was leaning on another tree precariously. When that tree was taken down it turned on the guys and knocked down another area of the fence. Steve repaired that damage as well and it looks fantastic. I was charged an additional $150 to repair that and another couple of sections removed by the tree company to allow them access into a neighbor's yard to remove the portion of the trees felled in their yard, but the tree company reimbursed me. I only briefly talked to Steve and mainly worked with Rhonda. She was excellent to work with and kept me in the loop the entire time. I have nothing but good things to say about Scheider Fence/Construction and will use their services again if needed. The original quote received was several hundred dollars cheaper than the only other quote I received. A third company never bothered to show at the date/time provided to get a quote.

Just had Scheider Fence provide replacement and upgrade of existing fence. Steve is a great person and a stickler for doing things right. He replaced eight panels of fencing creating a double gate and two single gates and was a joy to work with. I will contact him immediately for any future projects. It is wonderful to find a contractor who has skill and provides what they say they will do.

After lots of quotes and research I choose to use Scheider Fence to build my new privacy fence. A true small business with old fashioned customer service. Rhonda stayed in contact keeping me up to date on the timeline. Steve went above and beyond from the estimate and giving suggestions all the way through the build. He went the extra mile in building and reinforcing my large(ended up larger than we thought once the utilities were marked) double gate. Could not be more pleased with everything. I always love to support small local businesses since I am myself a local small business owner and very happy with my choice to use Steve for my fence.

Scheider Fences exceeded all expectations. If you want the best craftsmanship and high quality work, this is the business pay for services. We had about 12 fence estimates prior to removing our old fence and installing the new one. Scheider had a competitive price point. The final decision ultimately came down to who was going to be constructing the fence. Out of those 12 companies, 11 of them had sent salesman to assess the job. Yes, that is quite normal, but if you want to know who is going to be doing the work at your house and will be there to see through their promises, Scheider is the company to go with. The owner Steve is there for every step of the way. Rhonda was very helpful as well in setting up appointments and finalizing billing. Additionally if you support smaller, locally owned business, Scheider is the way to go.

Steve and Rhonda were great to work with on installing a black vinyl chain link fence. Steve was very knowledgeable and made some recommendations for our specific situation. He was open and honest, did a fantastic job, and did it all in a timely manner. Rhonda was great with following up with us on questions we had, and communicating with us in general about the project. We are VERY pleased with our fence outcome! You helped take care of our problem while leaving us with a very nice looking fence in our yard! Thank you Steve and Rhonda!

Steve and Rhonda have been great to work with on a fence repair. They were very responsive to our specific details on the project, openly honest and communicative about the timing for completing the work, and patient with us while we were trying to get additional quotes for comparison. The very high quality work was completed at the time as promised. Steve paid keen attention to the details and it was very clear he wanted to do a quality job. Rhonda is very polite, professional and very pleasant to interact with. There are a lot of ‘very’s in this review, and they are all earned and deserved! Very please with the work completed by Scheider. The on-site quote was promptly completed and provided in a few days from my initial call. Work was completed and no mess left behind. They were more competitively priced on the fence repairs even compared to the original fence company that installed the fence. Nice folks to work with and very responsive.

Steve (and his guys) did a great job of working in a tight space around lots of buried cables. Apparently, the smaller jobs can be the most tedious, but they made it happen without a hitch and were patient to discuss design details with me and a friend of mine whom I was relying on. This was a great experience and beautiful look upon completion! Rhonda and Steve were very communicative and pricing was very reasonable. They took the time with details including filling gaps under the fence knowing we have a small dog, helped us in the selection process since we needed two types of fences. The fence is beautiful and got completed in two days, I’d highly recommend!

From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Steve, Rhonda, and his guys! Steve’s pricing was very fair (actually the best price of all the quotes we received). He was also able to schedule our install quicker than any other companies we talked to (within a week of approval). We really appreciated Steve and Rhonda’s professionalism and communication. As for the install itself, Steve and his guys did a wonderful job! They worked hard (in some sweltering heat too) and completed the job in one day. They were careful and respectful of our home and existing landscape; and they were tidy/cleaned up after the work was done. Steve was detailed and went the extra mile to make sure our fence and gate are sturdy. Everything looks beautiful! We would definitely recommend Scheider Fences and would gladly hire them again for any future projects!

Very Professional. The entire process of putting up our fence was awesome. We had shadow box style fences installed, and they look amazing. Still the best looking fence in the neighborhood. This review has taken me just too long to post but here it is folks plain and simple... This company is the best. I had the pleasure of working with Steve Scheider, the owner and his amazing crew. Their quality stops traffic literally; every neighbor I have has stopped by to inquired about our fence. We had a headache dealing with our home builder regarding property lines and through numerous trips out Steve never gave up on us. I also need to express the wonderful experience I had with the most amazing coordinator Rhonda. She was with me every step of the way. Both Steve and Rhonda bent over backwards to make this experience the best I've had with any of the contractors I worked with. I pass their cards out ever chance I get. If we ever buy another home, better believe I'll be calling on Scheider Fences again.

Great job! Steve came out and walked the job at 2:30 and by 6:00 that evening I had received a fully detailed proposal. His estimate was in the top three that I received and he included hauling off the old fencing for me. I was told that he would schedule me in for the following Thursday. And when I received my courtesy call Wednesday night to let me know that he would be getting started at 8:00 am Thursday, I was impressed again by Steve's professionalism. When the job was completed. Steve and I walked the job and I was more than satisfied with the work, the clean up and the price. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone who was in need of his services. Sincerely, Terry
